The Pacific Southwest Regional Council of NAHRO, the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, is a membership organization composed of agencies, businesses, public officials and individuals dedicated to improving the lives of low income families through the management, maintenance, and construction of housing, community facilities, infrastructure improvements and economic redevelopment. Affiliated with the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) the Pacific Southwest Regional Council (PSWRC) was established in 1942 to serve the needs of professionals engaged in the subsidized housing business who work and live in California, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, and the Pacific territories.
A non-profit organization with its own regional Governing Board , the PSWRC maintains a strong interdependent relationship with our national organization, NAHRO. Within the region operate three active local chapters, the Arizona Chapter, the Northern California/Nevada Chapter, and the Southern California Chapter.

The PSWRC also works closely with other Associations, like The Northern California /Nevada HAEDA (Housing Authority Executive Directors Association) and The Housing Authority Association of Southern California.
